Reading between landscape and light.
Two shifted volumes sit beneath a continuous tilted roof, creating a sequence of open reading spaces along a narrow campus site. The roof directs rainfall into a linear pool, making water part of the experience of moving through the library. Concrete supports double as communal bookshelves, while rotating frosted-glass panels give students control over privacy and openness. A glass bridge connects the upper level and frames views into the tree canopy.
The project develops a sequence of shared and quieter spaces through level changes, layered thresholds, and a continuous relationship to the outdoors. Physical models, plans, and sections test how structure, enclosure, and circulation come together.
